Branded notebooks for business: what they cost and what to choose for each use
A stationery item with your logo costs from £0.36 per unit, with printing included. The right product is not the same for a meeting room, a new starter pack or a sales visit: the paper, the cover and the best way to apply your logo all change. In this guide you can see today’s prices, which branded notebooks or stationery suit each use best, and what to check before ordering so you do not rely on the photo alone.
How much does a custom stationery item cost?
Price per unit with printing included, excluding VAT and delivery. The unit price falls as quantities rise because the print setup is spread across more units.

For meeting rooms, stands and internal handouts
On shared desks, training sessions or an exhibition stand, the practical option is stationery that gets passed around while keeping your brand visible without getting in the way. Pads and sticky notes work well because they are useful for quick notes and can carry your logo on the cover or repeated on every sheet.
The usual mistake here is to treat the cover like a poster. With branded stationery, a small one-colour logo is used more often; if you want constant visibility, it is usually better to add the brand or a template inside the page than to cover the whole front in colour.

For day-to-day use by your team, a simple notebook is still one of the most reliable choices. Hardback notebooks stand up better to desks and meetings; soft-cover or recycled ones weigh less and are easier to carry in a bag. On the cover, foil blocking, screen printing or UV digital print all work well.
Before deciding from the photo alone, check the paper. Below eighty gsm, ink tends to bleed through and the notebook loses half its usefulness. It also helps to keep the logo restrained: small, in a corner or centred usually looks better than a front cover filled with colour.

When work revolves around appointments, routes or visits, a diary stops everyone ending up with their own system. A simple cover and discreet branding, usually in foil blocking or screen printing, work better than a busy cover and keep being used all year.
The classic mistake is ordering dated diaries once the year has already started. If time is tight, look for an undated option. And keep the logo small: on a diary that goes into meetings, a discreet finish makes it more likely to keep being used.

For client visits, conferences or longer training sessions, a conference folder brings documents, a pad and business cards together in one place. Folder and portfolio styles take a clean logo well in screen transfer or digital transfer, visible without turning the cover into an advert.
Here too, it pays to choose a neutral cover if the logo colour matters. Black, grey or understated shades usually work better across different brands than a very bright cover. If it goes with a branded pen, it is best to keep the same overall look.
